These are 5 combos, 32 counts each and balanced (the counts for each move are in (), with no taps. The start and stop are []. Each - can be repeated until learned, then the whole combo, then learn and whole combo on the other side. Accumulate combos as you go (do #1 2 or 3 times on both sides, then #1 and #2 together 2 or 3 times, etc...by the time you get to #4 and #5, your class may make it through once, twice and they are good steppers!)
Combo 1: L [start with right foot to the left corner while facing the front with the step in front of you]
-1/2 L step (4), 1 tap (4), across the top lengthwise (4), knee back (4) [end where you started]
-1/2 L step (4), 2 jacks (4), 1/2 L back (4), 2 jacks (4) [end where you started]
switch to left side and repeat
Combo 2: UK [start with right foot to the right corner while facing the front with the step in front of you]
-U turn or a turn-straddle-turn (8), travel scissors or over the tops (8) [end in front of the step, facing the west with the step on your left]
-K step or a step-knee-off-step-knee off ending where you started (8), helicopter or 2 pivots ending where you started (8) [end in front of the step, facing the west with the step on your left]
switch to left side and repeat
Combo 3: Trip [start with right foot to the left corner while facing the front]
-Triple hamstring curls and straddle (8), 2 single ham straddles (8) [end straddling the step, facing the west with the full length of the step behind you]
-4 hops back to the foot of the step (4), 2 jacks (4), triple knee back with the left foot (8) [end facing the east with the step on your left]
switch to left side and repeat
Combo 4: 8 Fish [start with right foot to the left corner while facing the front]
-Figure 8 or triple knee around the corner of the step-straddle-triple knee around-straddle (16) [end straddling the step, facing the west]
-Fish-knee or touch right-4 fast hops left and right-left knee-off (8), pivot (4), over the top (4) [end behind the step facing the east with the step on your left]
switch to the left side and repeat
Combo 5: Knees, Knees [start with right foot to the left corner while facing the front]
-Double knee-4 steps around the east corner to the front of the step x 2 (16)
-Over the top (4), step touch around or step left-right hamstring curl with a twist-right step-left hamstring curl (4), turn steps x 2 (8)
